LED Chandelier
We made this chandelier by encasing 5 metres of LED rope lighting in Plastimake.
Here's how we did it:
- We started off by making a long, thin rod of Plastimake.
- We bent this rod into a circle and fused the ends together.
- We tightly wrapped the LED lighting around the circular piece of Plastimake.
- We applied Plastimake directly onto the LED rope lighting.
We left some LEDs exposed, and enclosed others in Plastimake entirely. The lights that are fully enclosed have a nice glow to them.
This chandelier is a little bit rough around the edges, as we were testing out a bunch of different techniques. I'm sure you could make a prettier one if you gave it a try!
