Sink plug

We used Plastimake to create a replacement plug for our bathroom sink.

Here's how you can make one too:

  1. Temporarily block your sink. We used a fifty cent coin and some Blu Tack. It doesn't need be a water tight seal, just enough that it will stop warm Plastimake from falling down the hole.
  2. Create the plug by forming warm Plastimake around the sink opening.
  3. Pinch the top of your warm Plastimake plug to create a handle.

That's it! Once your plug has cooled, you should be able to easily lift it out and remove any items you used to block the sink in step 1. Because the plug is moulded directly onto the sink, we've found that this technique creates a really nice seal.
